About Ken & Suzanne
A little about us … we are living in the beautiful Texas Hill Country where we both work from home on our various online businesses (yes, it’s a LOT of togetherness LOL) and we seem to be managing the scheduling and such just fine.
We were both born and raised in California, Suzanne in Southern California and Ken in Lodi in the San Joaquin Valley. Ken’s been in Texas on and off for over 15 years and Suzanne for just over 7 years.
About 4 1/2 years ago (October 2004) we met online and decided to meet out for our first date. We went out for a drink and shot a game of pool (in Gruene) and I guess we really enjoyed each other because we’ve never really looked back.
We love each other completely and unconditionally and we’ve survived some pretty rough times (misunderstandings and relationship growing pains … and even losing our home to fire) and our love for each other today is stronger than ever.
We both really value family and we try to see our families as often as possible both here in Texas, in Louisiana, and in California.
In our free time we love to go to the Texas Coast (Port Aransas) for a weekend get away and when we’re home we love to be in or on the water - boating, wakeboarding, floating the river (it’s a Texas thang), going to the beach, river, or lake - that’s a good time for us. We also enjoy our “date nights” out to dinner and a movie or out for drinks with friends.
We are raising our 5 kids together as one family - Ken’s two (Alyssa 9 and Cobey 6) and Suzanne’s three (Austin 13, Nathan 11 and Emily 9) and we call it “crazy fun.” The kids all get along pretty well and treat each other as siblings (OK - so it’s not perfect all the time … LOL … but they really do pretty well together). We have the kids at various different intervals throughout the week and all 5 are with us about every other weekend so we do have the luxury of some alone/couple time too and it’s very nice (yes, we miss them but we know they’re off having fun with their “other parents” so it’s just fine).
